The Yolo County Children’s Alliance & Child Abuse Prevention Council is a public private partnership committed to improving the health and well being of Yolo County children, youth, and their families. Membership of the Children’s Alliance is comprised of forty five community representatives, all of whom are energetic advocates for children and youth

The Children’s Alliance was created by Resolution 2002-60 of the Yolo County Board of Supervisors in the Spring of 20002 in response to the need to formalize the County ‘s Child Abuse Prevention Council and in an effort to make access to services for all Yolo’s children equitable, regardless of their address. In March 2003 the Alliance was incorporated into a non profit 501 ( c ) 3 organization.
