Elena Ledesma has, for the last 5 years, collected donations to purchase Target gift cards for foster teens in Yolo County for the holiday season. Her passion to help foster teens began when, years ago, her grandfather talked about his past as a foster teen, expressing that holiday gifts were few and far between. This year, Elena is also fundraising to expand the number of teens served to include those experiencing homelessness.
