Yolo County Children’s Alliance seeks full-time bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Russian) Family Support Worker (FSW). Family Support Workers provide home visiting services to mothers who are pregnant or families who have newborn babies up to three months of age. Services are continued for up to 5 years. Target families are those who are facing challenges or who are overburdened and live in Yolo County. Intensive home visiting services include using the curriculum Partners for a Healthy Baby, administering assessments such as Ages and Stages. Family Support Workers teach parents about child development, promote positive infant-parent relationships, enhance baby and child’s social, emotional and cognitive development, support parents in setting and reaching their goals, help parents bond and attach with their babies and connect families with  community  resources.
