In Loving Memory of Robin
YCCA Team Member: 2008–2025

It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we honor the memory of our dear colleague and friend, Robin, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.
Robin was part of the Yolo County Children’s Alliance family for more than 17 years, and her influence runs through every corner of the organization. She was one of those rare people whose presence alone could bring calm to a room, whose laughter could ease even the heaviest day, and whose honesty and integrity quietly set the standard for how we serve our community.
Even when confronted with life’s greatest challenges, Robin carried herself with grace and a joyous spirit that reminded us all what it means to live with purpose. Her empathy ran deep, her words were thoughtful, and her actions were always guided by kindness. She believed that real change happens not in grand gestures, but in the small, consistent acts of care that lift others up.
Robin led with integrity and heart—never seeking recognition yet always creating lasting impact. She built trust through honesty, connection, and compassion, inspiring everyone around her to be a little more patient, a little more generous, and a little more human. Through her dedication and quiet strength, she helped shape YCCA into the organization it is today.
Colleagues Remember Robin
Her colleagues and YCCA partners remember her not only for her work, but for the warmth she brought to every interaction:
“Robin, you have truly touched my life through my health journey. You are resilient, and your dedication is truly admirable. Your warm, empathetic nature will always shine. Many hugs and all best wishes.”
“Robin, it’s truly been a pleasure working with you for over 10 years. You’ve always been so down to earth, thoughtful, and warm with everyone you meet. Thank you for spreading so much light and kindness.”
“You’ve always had this amazing ability to make everyone around you feel lighter—whether through your kindness, compassion, or that calm, steady presence that somehow makes even the wildest days feel manageable. You’ve made a real difference here, not just through your work, but through the way you’ve cared and respected everyone around you.”
“You bring warmth, encouragement, support, and grace to every day, and have this rare gift for making people feel genuinely seen and valued (and somehow still manage to make it all look effortless). You’re the bee’s knees, and I am so grateful to know and have worked with you.”
“Robin, your impact is immeasurable—the kindness, wisdom, strength, and grace you’ve shared have touched so many. May peace rest gently on your heart and love carry you through each moment.”
Carrying Forward Her Light
Robin showed us, through her life and work, that it’s the small moments that matter most—the laughter shared, the care extended, and the simple act of showing up for one another. She reminded us that integrity, compassion, and joy are not separate from the work we do—they are the work.
To honor her memory, we invite everyone to carry forward the values she lived by:
- Lead with honesty and kindness. Robin believed that truth delivered with care could change lives.
- Find joy, even in challenge. She faced hardship with grace and humor, showing that gratitude can coexist with grief.
- Do good quietly. Her most meaningful contributions were often the ones no one saw, except the person whose burden she helped lighten.
Robin’s light will forever shine in the heart of YCCA—in every act of compassion, every moment of service, and every family whose life is made better because she was here.
With love, gratitude, and remembrance,
The Yolo County Children’s Alliance Team
